We are currently looking for a full-time Graduate or Junior Software Developer with a passion for creating a best in class IoT cloud platform to enable the delivery WencoSaaS solutions to join our R&D lab in Brisbane, Australia. Reporting to the Cloud Platform Research & Development Manager, the successful candidate will participate in an agile software team, focusing on Wenco’s Asset Health Product portfolio. We are looking for someone at the start of their career, who is willing to learn and contribute to a high performance team, participating in all stages of the software development process. The successful candidate will have a natural curiosity to learn new technologies and willingness to apply their knowledge and skills to new and varied problem spaces. Key Responsibilities Development • Implement microservice behaviors according to design specifications using established patterns and design principles • Contribute to the implementation of applications across the across full stack • Contribute to the investigation and reproduction of customer issues • Contribute to an agile development team, participating in backlog refinement, sprint planning, execution and reviews. Product Development Support • Interface with product management/owners and developers to define and improve requirements and automated and manual test cases • Work with the Technical Documentation team to create content for instructions and user guides for customers Qualifications & Skills • You will have between 0 and 3 years working as a software engineer • Demonstrated software engineering problem solving skills • Graduate level proficiency in C#, Java, JavaScript, Typescript or Python.
